This vintage 1960s Märklin HO scale train collection is an exceptional example of New Old Stock (NOS) German model railroading engineering. The lot is headlined by the legendary Model No. 3021 Class V 200 heavy die-cast metal diesel locomotive (road number V 200 006) of the German Federal Railroad (DB), featuring its original bright red and grey paint scheme and pristine 3-rail AC center-stud pickup track slider. Accompanying the locomotive are two highly desirable, unrun tinplate passenger cars: the Model 4024 DSG ruby-red Dining Car (Speisewagen) and the Model 4026 dark green Express Baggage Car (D-Zug-Gepäckwagen) with functional sliding cargo doors. All three pieces are pristine, unrun specimens preserved inside their authentic original illustrated boxes with factory styrofoam and inner packing sleeves. A premium-grade addition for collectors of vintage post-war Märklin HO systems and classic European model trains.
